AADHAAR AUTHENTICATION FOR IDENTITY VERIFICATION

Your Aadhaar Number / Virtual ID (VID) along with OTP and/or biometric information will be submitted to UIDAI for authentication.

  • UIDAI will return only a Yes/No authentication response or e-KYC data as applicable.
  • The Department will not store or retain your Aadhaar number or core biometric information.
  • Aadhaar information will be used only for identity verification for issuance of e-ILP.
  • Users below 14 years don't need to issue separate e-ILP and can accompany their parents.

Aadhaar authentication is voluntary. If you do not wish to use Aadhaar, you may establish your identity using other officially valid documents. No service shall be denied for refusal to authenticate using Aadhaar.
